Non-custodial settlement
Settlement design: you sign; the vault executes; Bastion does not take possession of your keys.
1. Settlement flow
- You connect a wallet you control
- You sign a deposit or withdrawal transaction
- The network includes the transaction
- Vault accounting updates; USDT moves per contract rules
2. Non-custodial meaning
Bastion does not hold your private keys and cannot sign for you. If you lose key access, Bastion cannot recover the wallet. Settlement finality follows the rules of the selected chain.
3. Timing
Typical settlement targets are under a few minutes in normal network conditions. Congestion, RPC issues, or pauses can extend that window.
