Vaultion

Terms of Service

01

What Vaultion is

Vaultion ("we," "us") provides a software interface to a non-custodial escrow smart contract on TRON for USDT TRC20. We are a software provider, not a bank, money transmitter, custodian, escrow agent, broker, or financial intermediary. We do not hold, control, or have access to your funds. By using Vaultion (the "Service") you agree to these Terms.

02

How an escrow is created

Creating an escrow follows the in-app flow:

  1. Concept — describe the deal and escrow type.
  2. Pricing — set the USDT TRC20 amount and an inspection / challenge profile (Fast · 3 days, Standard · 7 days, or Extended · 14 days).
  3. Parties — enter buyer and seller TRON addresses. Those addresses are written into the deal and cannot be changed after creation.
  4. Updates — optionally add emails for status notifications. Emails are not required.
  5. Deposit — either the buyer or the seller connects a wallet that matches one of those addresses, then pays the platform fee and locks the escrow amount. The escrow is not funded until this step succeeds.
  6. Done — the deposit is locked on-chain; share the escrow reference with the other party.
03

Non-custodial — we never hold your funds

Funds committed to an escrow are held by the escrow smart contract on TRON, not by Vaultion. We cannot move, freeze, seize, reverse, or access those funds outside the contract rules. Release is controlled by: buyer release, automatic timeout / auto-release after the challenge window, or a Vaultion-assisted dispute ruling. You interact through your own self-custodied TRON wallet.

04

Disputes — Vaultion-assisted review

This product uses Vaultion-assisted dispute review (not a separate decentralized court). If a deal is disputed, both parties submit evidence. A Vaultion reviewer rules from that evidence. Funds stay in the contract until the ruling is enforced. Review is not a court of law and does not replace legal advice. Frivolous or abusive disputes may be rejected.

05

Fees

Vaultion charges a platform fee as a percentage of the escrow amount. The same tiers shown in Create apply:

  • 4% under $2,500
  • 3% from $2,500 to $9,999
  • 2% at $10,000 and above

The fee is shown before deposit, paid in USDT TRC20 at deposit with the lock, and is non-refundable. TRON network (energy/bandwidth) fees are charged by the network and are outside our control.

06

Eligibility and your responsibilities

You represent that you are at least 18, are legally permitted to use the Service where you are, and are not subject to comprehensive sanctions. You are solely responsible for wallet security, verifying TRON addresses and amounts before signing, and the legality of your deal. Blockchain transactions are irreversible — we cannot recover funds sent in error.

07

No advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

08

As is — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Smart contracts carry inherent risks, including bugs and exploits, that could result in loss of funds.

09

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaultion will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds arising from use of the Service. Any liability found despite the above will not exceed platform fees you paid to Vaultion in the three months preceding the claim.
